It depends what you want. Have you thought of Exeter and Cardiff Met. They are really good. Dont worry about rankings. Go where you feel you will enjoy the most.

Dont rely on rankings. Every ranking table will give you different results depending on what you measure. Why not Bath and Exeter. Both have wonderful sports facilities. Cardiff Met specialises in sports studies. It has had numerous Welsh rugby students go there including Gareth Edwards arguably Rugby's greatest ever player. International cricketers have gone there including Greg Thomas and current Glamorgan chief executive Hugh Morris. Lynn Davies former olympic Gold Medal triple jumper went there. They have one of the ECB's school's of excellence there. Their football team has played in European tournaments and the rugby side plays in the 2nd highest league in Wales. I would personally look at replacing Surrey and East Anglia with the above 2.

The University of Loughborough is amazing for a sports science degree. And they are one of the top unis for that type of course. Hope this helps!
