Why do people think it is weird or weedy for a man to gush over cute animals?

Hey I'm a man and I don't give a ****. If I like something I'll say it. There's too much pressure on guys to only like certain things, music and movies and it's dumb as ****.

In my opinion I don't find it weird for boys to like animals!!
What does gush mean? I just think of intense orgasms every time I hear the word and I’m hoping that’s not what you mean

Nope. Although some men would.., 'horses for courses' might be an appropriate saying here.
Probably because those kind of people have some image in their mind of what guys should act like which is just bs

Girls like it when guys express themselves. If you didn’t gush over puppies i’d just think you’re heartless, not masculine or “hard” or whatever guys think they look like by acting like they don’t care.

I don't think it's weird or weedy for a masculine guy, it shows a caring nature.
