Does this sound like a lot of food?Watch
Breakfast: 1 banana, 250 ml kefir, 1/4 hot cross bun
Lunch: 2 slices bread with butter
Dinner: plateful of spaghetti carbonara (125g pasta, 75g turkey, 1 egg) with salad, 2 tangerines
Drink: 3 cups of tea with milk, herbal tea, half glass milk, half glass red wine.
When I counted the calories it came out as nearly 1400. I feel full but am wondering is this enough food? I'm not underweight, just want to be healthy.
Recommended calorie consumption also takes into account your age, biological sex and lifestyle.
If you are interested in a more healthy lifestyle you could start drinking more still water, some fruit juice and give up the tea.
Have you checked your bmi based on height, weight and age?
You need a more nutrious lunch and far more veg in there, plus more water to stay hydrated.
