What does Oxford / Cambridge look for in geography students?

Any qualities that separates an Oxbridge geography student from other university students?
Generally, oxbridge want students who show genuine passion and potential for the subject by doing things that go beyond your a-levels. So for geography they will be looking at have you done you own independent investigation to find out something or you could do some wider reading e.g. national geographic or some of the geographic magazines or maybe an online course of some sort. Work experience isn't necessary, but if you do something geography related it can give you something to talk about in your personal statement, hope this helps :smile:
