The 'I'm Coming to Exeter' Thread

Has anyone else just gotten their accomodation e-mail? Mine arrived this morning. Lafrowda Block L, i'm really happy because that was my first choice! Plus it's the one they showed us around on Open Day so I know exactly what it's like. So glad I don't have to climb up Cardiac Hill haha

I still haven't my accommodation offer... Has anyone had anything in the post from Exeter at all? I got the letter from ucas confirming my place but haven't heard anything from the actual university

Got A*AB so I've been accepted into Exeter to do Psychology!
SO HAPPY! Anyone else on here on my course aswell?

I'm exactly the same, this is annoying me a bit now, as I applied for accommodation in early May... BUT I did contact the university about a letter, they don't send welcome letters apparently, only an email, which should arrive in the next week

The offers seem to be starting to trickle through via email today according to the threads so shouldn't be too long now. The acommodation people seem to suggest it takes a week to get all the offers out so sounds like they might do it in batches. I don't think it means you are less likely to get your choices if the email comes out later; just that they don't send 5000 offers all at once just for IT reasons.

Oh and has anybody else had the message come up... when tracking your application through the accommodation site, I always get this message when hovering over "processing":

'Allocated but not yet offered'.

What's that all about?! Why is it allocated yet I can't see what it is? Has something gone wrong with my application or something?

Mine says that too- I don't think it's anything to worry about! I think it's a description of what they mean by processing. Hopefully we'll find out soon

Wow, that's exactly the same as me! haha! Nice to meet someone doing the same languages because apparently not many people take 3! Did you take all of them for A-level or are you picking 1 up from scratch?

I did French and Spanish but I'l be starting Italian from scratch- I've been trying to learn a bit over the summer though- where are you from? Have you got an accomodation offer yet?
