Hi, No I haven't heard yet. I rang them and they said I should hear sometime this week and that my application is processing. It is about an hour flight to Exeter but I'm leaving on Sunday because I'm going to stay with my dad who lives in Nottingham for a couple of weeks and then he's going to drive me on down to Exeter  I can't wait x

Ah hopefully you'll hear soon then! Ah that's exciting  I hope we hear something from them soon about module choices and stuff! x

So I got this same e-mail, oh Exeter lol
So how do we find out where we are living?

You'll get an email saying that they've given you an offer, then you've got to log onto the Exeter accommodation site > Offer Information > View

Has anyone got the actual welcome email after receiving the blank one?

Is anyone else having trouble even applying for accommodation?

I haven't even started shopping, there's so much to do! Thankfully my mum has done this before so she's got everything in hand:biggrin:
I'm from the Midlands, about 4 hours away, which is annoying but could be worse I suppose, what about you?
I've gone self-catered and got an offer for St. Germans

Which block of St Germans you in?

Thanks, looks like I'm the only one without an offer yet :frown:
And no, they just assumed the blank email contained all the information we need.

I know I'm not the last one still waiting to hear about accomodation but it's getting pretty annoying!!:frown: Also because when I track my application on the website it only says that my application has been "submitted" :s-smilie:

I'm the same but this morning it changed from submitted to processing so hopefully we'll hear something in the next few days. Where did you apply for?
Do we need to buy tickets for freshers before hand or is that when we get there? Or do we even need to buy tickets atall? I'm confused :frown:

I'm exactly the same! Except mine says processing rather than submitted. I don't even care if we don't find out until later but I'm just worried that if everyone else is hearing now they might be doing ours last and putting us in the accomodation no-one else wanted D:

I got an email from the engineering department (but it was boring), but no welcome email.

i am now freaking out. i also applied through adjustment so am behind in the whole process.

i recently discovered why it was so bloody hard to apply for accommodation, they'd handed out the wrong codes to everyone! ring them and make sure you get the right code.

i also received a 'welcome email' with a mere dash in it. I have not been sent an official letter from them yet, everything i've done with them has been over the phone and online.

now i am told by others who are going to other unis that they've all done their 'enrollment' such as sending the uni a pic of themselves for the id card and i haven't heard a word from exeter about this.

can anyone help??

Oh my gosh! I didn't even think to check the code.

Thanks so much, I'll ring again tomorrow morning!

Did you get allocated straight away? Oh, and how long ago did you find out?

I'm kinda in rage mode at the moment, seeing as (thanks to the insane prices) I really can't afford much of their accom, and I'm guessing the cheaper ones go first.
