Thanks, looks like I'm the only one without an offer yet :frown:
And no, they just assumed the blank email contained all the information we need.

Don't worry I only just applied for accommodation today as I didn't have my student ID number that I needed to apply, but I just called the enquiry switchboard and was tranferred to the admission office where I could get the number by providing my UCAS personal ID. I still don't have my security number to open my IT account but as it's not too urgent I'm going to give it a while to see if my welcome email does come as it should be on there.

But yea, any information you do need, don't be afraid to hunt down, and there are always house shares if we really get unlucky on our accommodation hunt. I keep panicking about it, but then I realize, there's actually nothing more I can do so I might as well chill out and enjoy what time I have left in my hometown whilst waiting for my application to be processed.

So basically, do what you can yourself, and when you have, just chill and mentally prepare

Did you get allocated straight away? Oh, and how long ago did you find out?

I'm kinda in rage mode at the moment, seeing as (thanks to the insane prices) I really can't afford much of their accom, and I'm guessing the cheaper ones go first.

I literally found out the day before yesterday and applied for accommodation as soon as I was given the correct code. At the mo, my application is still only 'submitted' so no allocation yet.

good luck!

It just says like... Congratulations on securing your place to study Engineering at the University of Exeter. The College of Engineering, Mathematics and Physical Sciences is a great place to study with lots going on to keep you busy within and outside of your degree programme.

I'm the same but this morning it changed from submitted to processing so hopefully we'll hear something in the next few days. Where did you apply for?

Same!! And I just heard from them an hour ago  I had wanted either Lafrowda or Hope Hall but I got my third choice Holland Hall.. Where did you apply for? I hope they reply to you soon because I know that waiting is awful :s-smilie:

I'm exactly the same! Except mine says processing rather than submitted. I don't even care if we don't find out until later but I'm just worried that if everyone else is hearing now they might be doing ours last and putting us in the accomodation no-one else wanted D:

Well they replied today and I did get my last choice but I don't think that's necessarily because I was one of the last people they replied to, hopefully you'll get your first choice! where did you apply for?
I'M EXCITED :woo:

Someone come be excited with me :colondollar:

I got given Northfield which wasn't one of my 3, it looks pretty nice though it's just a lot more expensive than the 3 I'd chosen... I phoned up to see if they had anything cheaper and they said they'd get back to me tomorrow if they have any vacancies from people declining their offers etc., but Northfield's grown on me the more I've looked into it so unless they offer me what was my first choice (Lafrowda) I'll probably stick with Northfield and try and budget well

Ouch, are you happy with your last choice though? When I phoned I asked how they sorted it and they said they just do it as ucas sends them our results as they came through at different times apparently, so ours must've been sent last xD

Hmm maybe they are then giving us the last vacancies considering we both didn't expect our offers! :s-smilie: I got offered Holland Hall which is also quite expensive.. I put it as my third choice because I liked the look of it but never quite expected it to be my offer! Oh well, I'm quite happy anyway  Good luck, hopefully they will change your offer! But Northfield seems lovely too
