I've been offered Teign House Bock G but I'm worried as it seems to be a bit far away from the rest of campus : /

Is anyone else staying in Teign house / do you know anything about it which might reassure me? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Also, I've emailed but won't get a response until after the bank holiday I guess but my offer is for Maths and Economics and I want to switch to straight Economics, anyone have any idea if they're likely to let me? :/

I guess they can be flexible, although it depends on how full the economics is. I was able to change from BEng Civil Engineering to MEng Engineering and Management.

. I'm also in Teign house Block G. Bit surprised as it wasn't one of my choices. I guess we're just going to have to get used to walking a lot and carrying flats for a night out. Looking forward to meeting you :smile:

It's been a few years since old Duryard came down, so everyone's sort of got out of the habit of thinking of it as a place to live, but it's only about two minutes further away than Birks, so I wouldn't worry about it too much. The grounds are lovely, and if you're into music at all it's a great place to be 'cos they've put all the social music stuff into Kay House.

I'm doing FCH Maths and Spanish (and maybe adding Japanese as well) with study abroad. Not sure about accommodation yet, I'll have my finalised spot on Thursday.

I'm in G too, it's about a 10 minute walk apparently. Looked on google maps and it's not all that far, but just depends whether or not you like walking haha!
