went tescovalue shopping today and bought a spatula and some plates and bowls and notebooks and oh god its finally starting to feel real.

Hahahaha this made me laugh, a spatula?!! I didn't even think of buying one!! So I guess you'll be the baker of your flat :tongue: I haven't bought anything yet...I'm coming from France so i haven't really got the luggage allowance to buy kitchen stuff and stationary here. It'll have to wait! When are you moving in??

Phew! I was dreading you saying that you'd had a reading list emailed months ago! Did you receive the welcome email yesterday? It had about 4 forms to fill out - but I could only find two.. There was a 'Health and Safety Code for Off-Site Activity' form that I couldn't see anywhere, but it said we needed to send it to them before we arrive.. Have you seen it? :smile:

I wish it was a 3 hour drive for me! :frown: I live on the County Durham/North Yorkshire border, it's meant to be a 6 hour drive but it took us 7 and a half hours last time with breaks :frown:

Just booked my arrival for the Friday at 4-4:30, it's gonna take us a while to get down so it had to be late-ish, didn't want that to mean I was the last one there so I went for the Friday just in case :tongue: you?

I'm getting there for the 10:30-11 slot on the Friday - didnt fancy being the last one either! Can't believe it's only 2 weeks away!

aha no problem :tongue:, i'm coming from Dorset so not too far away, i'm in block b Lafrowda and have selected my modules (the selection looks really good imo), what about you? :smile:

I'm coming from France :smile: and I'm in block F! I haven't submitted my module choices yet...I keep changing my mind haha. I cant believe we'll be moving in in 2 weeks!!(and my name's Rachel, my username isn't that explicit :tongue:)

aha, i guess the R part of your username could refer to Rachel :P, yer choosing the modules was pretty difficult as the're was such a good choice available. 2 weeks! i can't believe it either, seems like yesterday that i was collecting my results

I booked in my arrival time at my halls this week and booked to arrive on Saturday 15th, but my offer says that the period of residence doesn't start until the 16th? Does that mean that I have to stay off campus for one night? :confused:

No, I guess it's just when they will start charging you. I would call the accommodation office and double check, no one here can tell you for certain!
