Unconditional for Zoology at Cornwall Campus
Just firmed for Classics. I love the uni and the course is perfect, so I'm really excited to come. Using this as a big motivation to get the grades!

Hey, you posted this like years ago, but I'm interested in doing the same course as you did at Exeter in 2014, and i just wondered, what the course is like if you did do it, also the university itself and would you recommend it? I'm really interested in the ecology and animal side of biology, so it would be really good if you could give any info about the course, thanks very much !

i am wondering whether to firm corwall campus as well, would be great if you can give some advice. I got offer from geography.

I got an unconditional in Classics and love the sound of Exeter. However, I live in America and I don't know yet if I should stay in the US or not but, I really think it would be cool to go to the UK!

Whoohoo, another Classicist! Have you visited the UK before?

Exeter seems like a town with a really nice community feel, which is why I picked it originally, and the Classics department is really strong at the uni. I guess it depends what sort of student life you're looking for though.

I visited the UK last November, but I didn't see Exeter. I was mostly in the north, around Newcastle and York. I really think that Exeter is where I want to go to school! You don't get that many chances to live abroad and I really loved England and want to see more of it!
MSc Biotechnology & Enterprise course. Hope Exeter lives up to it's expectations!

Offered Durham and Exeter. I was cocksure that I'd be going to Durham, but after their post-offer open day I'm leaning more and more towards Exeter, especially as I'm studying Business Management, and that seems to be Exeter's forte.

Currently snooping around this sub-forum, I'm definitely a fan.

Well if you've got any questions just ask away and I'm sure we can try and sway you a bit further in Exeters direction!

I had to decide between Durham and Exeter
as well. Choosing Exeter was the best decision I could have made. I love it here and would not want to be anywhere else. It is amazing.
I'm also choosing between Durham and Exeter for Biology. I think I might go for Exeter, even though i guess Durham has a slightly better reputation, Exeter is still great and seems more the place for me, I think. Can't bring myself to actually firm it yet though!
For those yet to decide, you may wish to note that it hasn't snowed here once in the two years I have been here. As someone who hates snow, that's a major plus. It was also voted 4th happiest town in the UK this year!

I'm in my first year of Biological and Medicinal Chemistry at Exeter. I have a friend from sixth form doing Biology here and we share half of the modules this year. It's important to know that if you get fed up with Biology you can very easily transfer to Biochem or BMC (we're talking a couple of weeks at the start of each term).

This is where you'd be working:

Hope this sways you!
I had an offer from durham but chose exeter for biosciences and am very happy with the decision I made. Love it here.
