I definitely remember there being a few people on this thread and in one of the Facebook groups linked on here, so don't worry, there's a few of us! I did meet some of the society on the open day and it looks like they got up to loads (and were probably the most active of all the unis I looked at).

Are there any other societies you're thinking of joining?

Yeah I really should join Facebook :') the classic society looks really good, I hope they're all friendly! Well, I can't really remember but I know there was a few I wanted to join, a film one I think and there's a drama one but I'm not sure I'm brave enough for that, how about you?Nym

Birks Grange block B- first choice yaaaay!
Okay so on the accommodation form could people actually out what their fires choice of building was? Or was it just standard, en-suite, studio? Cause I'm kinda freaking out now but I don't want to ask at SID again because I'll seem like a real keeno, oh wow I just said keeno

People who applied before 31st July could put individual preferences of which residences they wanted (not that they were guaranteed to get them, mind you, but they could put them down). People applying from 1st August onwards (i.e. insurance people and anyone really disorganised) can only put stuff like what standard of room they'd ideally like.

Really disorganised- yup that's me (or super duper ditzy because I thought I had applied and it turns out I hadn't, oops) thanks for telling me

Ooh awesome! I like Birks grange too! And Duryard (I think that's it) and La Frowda and there's another but I can't remember it :') I think I'll genuinely just cry if I can't stay somewhere nice...so are you nervous for uni? I'm assuming you'll be at freshers week?

Good luck I hope you get a nice place, but they've all got good points so I'm sure you'll end up really happy wherever you get  yeah I'm pretty nervous, mostly that I'll struggle with the work or end up a complete loner, but mostly I'm just massively excited! How are you feeling? And yeah I'll be there, we should try to meet up!

I guess as long as I'm with super fun people it doesn't really matter where I'm living  oh yes the work! I keep forgetting that we actually have a degree to earn, but I suppose everyone else will be in the same boat too, have you done classics at college? Well I think it would take some real effort to be a COMPLEATE loner, but in any case you probably don't have anything to worry about. I'm still super scared and excited, but my mum keeps freaking out about money and how I'm going to end up not being able to afford food because I'm rubbish at saving money...hopefully that won't be the case :') Yes we should! At least if we do we know we won't be entirely alone!

Officially going to Exeter to study Felxible Combined Honours- International Relation, Spanish and German. I´m from Slovakia. Anyone else is coming to study this? I can´t wait to get to Exeter but I´m really stressing out as I usually do. Haven´t got an offer from my accomodation, but hopefully I´ll get it soon. Can´t wait to get there!
Is anyone else in Birks Grange, block A??

I'm studying English Lit and Classics, and I'm going to be staying in Lafrowda Block MA.

Anyone in the same one?

I was just wondering if anyone knew if this is the new, done up part of the Lafrowda Blocks - like the pictures, or if its the old part, and if it was nice in general?

Also, may be a silly question but are we allowed fairy lights?
Bit worried. I accepted my offer of accommodation and received an email straight away. I then paid my deposit and I haven't heard anything since... the bank have confirmed it was sent but Exeter haven't acknowledged that they've received it?
Hello  I am travelling from southampton to exeter to study Geography (BA) Anybody else studying the same subject?

I'm BSc to, really excited! I just want to go now! I'm coming from Essex, so Exeter is a little bit easier for me to get to than from Northern Ireland ;-)

It took about 24 hours for them to process mine, so don't panic yet
