Right so results day, I get my grades and my grade in AEA which I need for my offer, so I go ape **** and start jumping around school generally off my tits hyper. Anyways, so later I check track and it says that it's still conditional, so I'm a bit weirded out by this as my offer from Nottingham has changed to unconditional (thank God). So I ring the Warwick clearing hotline thingy mah jigy, and it turns out that they don't have my AEA grade, why? Why? WHY? I don't know, I just hate Edexcel now.
Anyways, I went out last night and got in at like 1? fairly early but I was tired and had had a long day but because of the Edexcel cock up I had to get up at 8 and go back to school to get them to sign and stamp my results form and then fax it to Warwick. Ow mah gosh. What a kuh-fuhful. :mad:

I had a similar cock up with AQA because they mixed me up with my cousin and gave my A in French not to me, but to her. So had an X next to my French grade and got rejected by insurance uni. Firm uni said they need proof of grade and college knew about this at 10am yesterday, 1pm today and track still says conditional!

Blahhh. I hate Edexcel because I think the marking for English Combined was extremely harsh. The grades I got for U5 and U6 (E and U respectively) were completely disproportionate to the amount of hard work and revision I did. Most of my class feel same way.
We've either been screwed by Edexcel or by our teachers, did anyone else do worse than they were expecting in English?

god im so into this thread i hate edexcel.in olevels they gamme bbbccccd.i thought mayeb i didnt study hard enough then in a levels i worked my ass off completelyyyyy .and guess what i got C,D.I was expecting A,C. to hell with you edexcel .you suk.you guys gave me 365 in biology and i gota a C.wtfff.edexcel thinks it to smartttt,******* off edexcel

i think theyre meant to be a bit hit-and-miss with marking too. someone in my class got an E in the whole years work for AS and got it remarked and ended up nearly getting a B grade! quite shocking really :eek:

. also, i did a resit for some AS work for philosophy this year and i ended up getting a D (lower than the grade i got originally) despite my thinking it was the best exam :|
haha! although i have to say, that was probably not a mismark, just me overestimating my abilities hahaha! oh well ey!

Edexcel lost our drama coursework and instead of admitting it, they just pretended that they have never received it and gave the ENTIRE year Ds and Es.

Same here. Warwick haven't recieved my maths+FM results so I had to fax it. Warwick can't even ****ing confirm they have the fax so I just have to wait and call them back. I was so happy because I exceeded the offer and now I have to deal with this crap. **** Edexcel.

My Uni have been sent unit marks, but I don't have a Further Maths grade from Edexcel yet. I did Maths previously with AQA, and they have decided I can't get the award if they have no record of me doing Maths. This. Is. Annoying. :mad:

I'm in a similar position to the OP. Edexcel haven't given my History mark to Sheffield, so my firm is still a conditional offer....my insurance got the results alright though! Just means I have to wait longer now :/

I hate them too. They have completely messed up my grades. I was predicted an A in Music AS and somehow got an E. My teachers and parents and myself are fuming and want to know what the hell is going on. Arsewipes.

Agreed, they've got a tendency to mark very tightly and make plently of cock ups.
