A level computer science NEA only allowed to do python

Hi,

I will be starting computer science A levels in September, and I am concerned about the NEA.

The school computers only have python installed on them, no other language so we are forced to use python (I would've prefered to do c# but it doesn't really matter). There is also no way to get more plugins/frameworks because we cant access cmd (no pip install). Furthermore, the only application to code python on is the IDLE or notepad++, which I both hate and use other things like pycharm at home. Due to these things, I will probably code everything at home.

However, is there a way to get a portable python IDE that can use pip install without needing admin? E.g. something I can put on a usb and bring to school and use it there. I've tried using Visual Studio Code but it doesn't really work that well.

Any help will be much appreciated .
I just bring my laptop into school
