Could anyone recommend some victorian novels that show the presentation of women?

I can't remember that Harper Lee's famous novel counts to victorian era. All the more it has the origins in America... nonetheless a good one!

Far from the madding crowd.
Emma.
Pride and Prejudice.
Anna Karenina.
Tess of the d'Urbervilles.

Pride and prejudice is a novel that's typically chosen if one is writing an essay about the presentation of women, so I'd recommend that you go for Far from the madding crowd, Anna Karenina and Tess of the d'Urbervilles.
