A question to any current/past Land Economy students: what proportion of the course does each subject take (economics, etc.) and are there any exclusively environment/geography modules?

Based on your grades I would definitely say good, but it's all about the interview and your personal statement.

Not likely, I'm afraid - the University takes a dim view of anything that it considers to amount to giving an "unfair advantage".

As long as you take your time and are considered in your answers (so don't open your mouth before you've formulated your train of thought!) you'll be fine.

Thank you for your words of wisdom.

I am currently doing
Economics Maths Geography and Philosophy.

What aspect do I need to focus in Geography and Economics?

Any books you recommend?

Sorry, I'm a law student rather than a Land Economist, so I wouldn't know what to suggest. I only happened to see this thread because I'm subscribed to it (a side effect of being a moderator!).

The Director of Studies at the college I've applied to recommended 'Triumph of the City' by Edward Glaeser; 'The Last Days of Detroit' by Mark Binelli; and 'Aid' (I think) by Giles Bolton.
