Hey!
Great to see people interested in studying Land Economy at Cambridge! I just completed my B.A. in Land Economy at Downing College and got a First every year. I remember how hard it was when I was interviewing to find good material online: since Land Economy is such a small degree, there simply isn’t the same amount of good information online on how to prepare for interviews. My school was not very helpful either, as they didn’t really know the course. If any of you are interested, I would be happy to give you either online or in-person (if you are in London) tuition//advice/practice interviews to maximise your chances of getting in. I remember my interview experience very well, and also helped my Director of Studies think of questions to ask candidates for interview in my last year. I have helped someone with the entire application process before who successfully received an offer from Pembroke College. If you’re interested, send me a message! Aless

I felt the problem solving was much harder than in previous years. Critical thinking was the same level of difficulty I reckon compared to previous years, although there was one parallel reasoning question which seriously caught me out...

My interviews were okay, I don't think I performed as well as I could have due to extreme sickness on the day (how unlucky) but I enjoyed them! What about you?

I am really sorry to hear that you were sick on the day. I feel the same about the TSA, however I did not think I did well in the test. I probably did badly as I was running out of time.

With regards to the interviews, I am not sure about the short interview, the second one , the long interview seems to be fine. It is difficult to know though but I am glad it is over and done with! Good luck to you and everyone else!

Anyone else likes to share their experiences?
:frown::frown:Rejected. Bye Cambridge.

Hi guys, first year LandEc at Cambridge here! I know a lot of you will be getting offers in soon and may have some questions about the course, cambridge life, etc, before you decide to put it as your firm choice. If so then feel free to message me, I was in the same boat last year so I know how sh*t scary it can feel

Hi,

I am thinking about applying this year. I am wondering what college you are currently at? How was the application process; in terms of other degrees, what did you apply for? Was this easy to convey in your personal statement that you wanted to do LE and other courses? What was your offer?

Thanks a lot.

I really want to apply for land economy next year. I am currently in my first year of A-level. I did not have the most stellar GCSE grades (4A*s, 6As and 1B) but I think I may be able to achieve minimum A*A*A at A-level. How were your GCSE grades?

Thanks
