A baby question (I mean about babies lol)

Is it 'safe' for a 5 month old to sleep on their side? If the baby seems to like sleeping on their side and you put him to sleep on his back but he tries to change position, but isn't quite able to achieve it, should I:

a) leave the baby alone
b) Change his position for him?

Any mums on here willing to pass on wisdom? 🙏

Hi, as far as I can see they should stay on their back until 6 months old but not 100%. It may be worth calling your health worker? Hopefully some mums on here will know!

Met a guy, fell in love. Had a baby and he left.

Life is so tragic. Thank you though, no offence taken!

Hey, thanks! Yeah I didn't know if it was safe for him to lie on his side because he is still only 5, but his mother said it was fine as he finds the position more relaxing. Just wanted to check because it didn't seem safe lol

I think at that age it would be quite difficult for him to do so.

I’m not a mother so don’t take anything I say seriously
