start studying for your exams in october at the latest. especially for higher chemistry, it's quite tough but doable.

Hi, I did higher chemistry last year. It was my favourite subject and I'm doing advanced this year and hoping to do it at uni. I'm hoping that I get an A for higher, but if you need any help, I'll be more than happy to help.

And I also agree with @LiamM04 , go over your notes regularly, that means when you get to properly revising for prelims/exams you can focus on the things you don't understand instead of trying to memorise things.
