Revising for languages (Edexcel GCSE)

Should I learn the vocab lists in the textbook or the list of vocab in the specification?
Both, if you can - with languages more vocab is always better. If not, stick to the spec as those are things that will definitely come up.
Both, learning the vocab will help you to understand the paper more thoroughly. I did French for AQA and it helped ALOT. It helped me achieve almost a 9 so definitely learn the vocab
I wrote down the ENTIRE vocab list in a sort of 'mini dictionary' - I learnt most of this, however just learning vocab lists won't give you a good grade - doing as many short and long answer practice questions as you can, and using complex word orders will - I did GCSE German and I got a 9 (I got almost full marks in my speaking and writing - my German teacher was ABSOLUTELY gutted when I told her I wasn't doing it for A-Level).
