Strict Parents help!

So basically, I have really strict parents and I’m currently 16. My family friends who are like my cousins go to Canada every year and this year I want to go with them. But my dad doesn’t really trust them. One is 19 and one is same age as me. Does anyone have any tips on convincing strict parents to let them go on holiday with friends/cousins? Would mean a lot ! 🥺
