!!!help w/ maintenance loan

Hey guys I’m stuck,

I’m an EU student and I’m not eligible for maintenance loan because the only requirement I haven’t fulfilled is the UK national. But I believe I am a settled Uk resident as I have no restrictions as to how long I can stay in the UK.

Although there seems to be a different meaning to this “settled” term. What should I do???? Please help :smile:

How long have you been resident in England?

3 years so far it will be 4 years this September

Eu citizens need to have been resident in England for 5 years prior to the start of their course to be eligible for maintenance loans.

You might be eligible as a migrant worker or child of a migrant worker.
