Hey,
I am an international student from India and I want to do my Part III of mathematical tripos from Cambridge but I am unable to decide which college to choose. I would prefer a college near the department and with low living cost and food. Also, I would like to know which college takes the most people in part III.
Kindly suggest some.
Thank You.

Trinity; Newton went there along with a long list of famous mathematicians.

Cambridge is small, nowhere is massively far away from anywhere else. They all cost more or less the same as well, as students are mainly on the same sort of budget. For PG they usually try to spread students out so that nowhere has a predominance of any subject. There are few subjects and degrees that only go to certain Colleges, mainly the part-time courses, but not Part III I think. So just pick one at which you think you will be happy.
