hi can any one help me with this question please i choose amino acid and 2-butane for this question : Draw the displayed and skeletal formula of the above biological compound then determine at least two the isomers exhibited by this compound.Explain how the structure affects the properties of the polymers formed by the these isomers. i don't know how to express it

hi! sure can you also check my assignment if i am in the right track and my calculation thank you so much

Q1. A basic biological compound contains 40.0% Carbon , 5.7% Hydrogen and 54.3 % oxygen. It has the atomic mass of 175g/mol.



C): 40/12 = 3.333..
(H): 5.7/1 = 5.7
(O): 54.3/16 = 3.39



A).Work out the empirical formula, molecular and structural formula of the compound.

Then divide by lowest amount to get a ratio (in this case divide each number by 3.333) to get C : H : O ratio:
1:2:1
= CH2O (empirical formula)

Molecular formula can be calculated by working out the Mr of CH2O = 12+(2x1)+16 = 30
Divide 175g/mol by 30 = 5.8 (round up to 6)
CH2O (x6) = C6H12O6

it wont let me, but i choice carbon and Fructose skeletal you can look it on google
