Displayed formula is when the molecule is drawn out, e.g. ![Name: 15897983403723694816396221421213.jpg

The structural formula is where the elements in the molecule are written out consecutively by group, like in a molecular formula, but instead of group all atoms of one element together, it would group the atoms by group and order in the chain. For the above molecule, the structural formula would be:
CH3CHClCH2CH3
For contract, the molecular formula would have been C4H9Cl. Structural formula is useful for distinguishing between isomers.

Which spec will you be doing? (I'm guessing you're a Y11 doing some prep work).

Structural = who knows? skeletal is allowed, but usually they mean something like CH3CH2OH OR CH3-CH2-OH for ethanol.
