I am to start my Masters in Clinical Psychology this September, which I am really excited for as I have always had a passion for clinical. However, as much as I love Clinical Psych, I understand how hard it is to get into a Doctorate programme.
I have developed a growing interest for Health Psychology, and although I wouldn't want to step away from my Masters and move to health, from what I have read, the process doesn't seem as hard/long to be a Health Psychologist in comparison with a Clinical Psychologist. I wondered if I were to complete my Clinical Masters this September, could I apply to become a Health Psychologist? Or would they strictly require only Masters in Health Psychology not Clinical?
I just want to weigh up my options and decide realistically what it most achievable for me.
