How do i collect my own primary data for my EPQ?

I'm in the very early stages of beginning my EPQ; although the full title is still undecided, I want to base it on the literary and political influence of Virginia Woolf. However, I am finding it difficult to think of how I can find my own primary data about this topic. Any ideas?

for an epq student, typically with a survey since a study is not feasible and you're unlikely to be coming up with original research
