GCSEs at 22

My boyfriend never completed his GCSEs or any equivalent as he left school early. We are moving to Nottingham in August/September, where can he get the education he needs, I know there are a few places but not sure where to find them.
Thank you!
Most colleges do at least English, Maths and Science. If you have below a C/4 or not at all then they are free of charge

No just get basic education, we currently live in spain and he can't get any supermarket jobs at the moment because they ask for GCSEs or equivalent and I'm sure there will be many other jobs alike

I see.

Given that he is living abroad, he might want to look at https://www.britishcouncil.org/exam/uk-boards-overseas - maybe find somewhere local to sit the GCSE exams.

I may even be able to help with online tutoring - feel free to send me a PM.

There are also NCFE level 2 distance learning qualifications that can be undertaken from anywhere in the world - and provided he is a British citizen or has been living in an EEA member state for the past three years, he should qualify for support to meet all of the costs - although there is a fee charged to those who take too long to complete any of the courses.

Examples of NCFE level 2 distance learning courses can be found on the following:

https://www.sunderlandcollege.ac.uk/courses/adult-learning/distance-learning/
https://www.btc.ac.uk/find-a-course/distance-learning/

https://www.qualhub.co.uk/qualification-search/qualification-detail/ncfe-level-2-certificate-in-understanding-retail-operations-4490 may be of interest if he is applying for supermarket roles.
