In a way, but that’s the case with most subjects and activities since they directly correlate with your general factor of intelligence. This includes areas such as working memory, knowledge, fluid reasoning, all of which can be advantageous in your English literature performance. An IQ test cannot measure your general intelligence (the g factor), but rather estimates it and then compares it on a bell curve to the scores of all the other participants. However, it goes without saying that hard work will yield some results regardless of your intelligence, but having that natural aptitude for something will not only make things a lot easier, but also a lot faster to get to and it will enable you to reach higher levels of performance in that field. I‘d advise you not worry about things that are out of our control though, but instead just focus on trying your absolute best and keep pushing your limits. Only time and perseverance will be able to tell if you’ll get the grade you want. Hopefully you will, good luck.
