I'm doing Edexcel GCSE History, and I have this question i need to answer:
2) Explain why there was rapid progress in disease prevention after 1900. (12)
You may use the following in your answer:
• government intervention,
• vaccinations.

I'm not sure what to write about? could someone help ?

You can write about the two about government intervention and vaccinations (tbh they both interlink with each other) but you should include one more. Do you have any clue what could help prevent disease at all?

-the liberal reforms that helped tackle poverty (as it was a huge cause of illness)
-vaccinations rolled out across the country (due to the war)

That's good and you could talk about how they tried to improve people's diet. You could talk about drugs like penicillin to help immunise society with antibodies?

Yes thanks. Do you think the 3 paragraph ideas I have are OK, or would you suggest talking about some of the ideas you mentioned instead?
