A ski lift in Val Thorens at -20C plus (/ minus) wind chill. Great skiing though.

Living where I do now, the classic answer is summer in San Francisco ..

Maine...ah snow days, how I miss you...listening on the radio as they rattled off the school districts that were closed, and the euphoria of finding I was able to spend an entire day playing in the snow instead of going to school...

That said as an adult I am considerably less fond of snow, even the pitiful amounts we get in the UK
