It's not normal but it is evident here. I haven't personally been subjected to direct confrontation like that but I have met people like them and I can see they are the type of people that are like that, where they are actually disrespectful.
Never personally witnessed anything like this. Sadly there is racism everywhere. Don't recognise the building to be a Newcastle Uni one.
I've seen a news article about this. I think the black students go to Newcastle university. The students shouting out the racism go to university of Northumbria. It must a university accommodation. In other parts of the country I can't imagine a whole house and their neighbours egging on racism.
I don't think I fully understand though? What does "not normal but evident" mean?
There appears to have been friends and even neighbours egging the abuse on.
Sorry I didnt see this as notifications is different for me as I can only see when I'm quoted or tagged. Like I know that it wouldnt be normal for this to happen as I dont see it happening or hear it happening commonly but I can see it happening because those types of people do exist here

Northumbria is seen as the lesser uni because it's more known for its business and sports course, where btec students are more likely to apply (and you know btecs are seen as inferior, despite how hard it is) . Newcastle uni is seen as the superior and where the smarter people go (Not true but its seen like this).
