Do you use Microsoft wordpad?
I was trying to write a genealogy report using wordpad on my laptop. I would've used Microsoft word, but I don't have it. Anyway, when I went to save the file, it did save, but the words had disappeared. I restarted the laptop, but still no luck. I've still got the file, but don't know how to recover the words?

Here's a tip: if you have any .edu or .ac.uk email then you can get office for free. Also you can use Google documents as a better wordpad alternative with automatic saving
