Ashburne Hall?

I've just been allocated into Ashburne Hall (not one of my choices, but it's in Fallowfield so I'm not too bothered.) I started reading around about it, and it seems it has been an all girls hall up till this year? Wondering if there were any other guys having been put there, or if anyone could tell me anything about it?

All I know about Ashburne, is that they called it Virgin Megastore, and apparently it had REALLY bad catered food (there's even a facebook group dedicated to this!)

I wasn't aware that it's been altered from a girls only hall though, so I imagine it won't be any different to Sheavyn house, which is right next to OP, so I imagine you'll be fine :smile:

Are you a guy? My girlfriend applied and got in there. Shes says it looks very nice and some of the rooms are very big. It seems to get a bad rep because its girls only or at least was. She wanted to go there to avoid rowdy lads lol.

Sorry I never said, but yep I'm a guy. Apparently they've changed at least one of the wards into mixed sexes. The larger rooms sound nice, and it looks like it's in a great area so i guess i can't complain too much :smile:

Heyy. I've been placed in Ashburne Halls too but infact wanted Sheavyn because I didnt really want catered!! But O well. I hope the food isnt as disgusting as people have been making out.. :frown:

Hi, don't know whether you still go on here but I thought I'd give it a go! I am starting in September and am in WB.1.14 - so not far from where you stayed. Just wondering if you could tell me a bit about what the room is like/ any pics you have - super excited haha!
