I'm going to be starting a degree in Economics and Philosophy in September but I'm a little worried about getting used to writing essays again since I basically haven't done so in three years (during GCSEs). I don't have an aversion to writing or anything, I just haven't really had much of a chance to do so since I only took sciences for A level.

I originally thought of looking at A level economics and philosophy content but I've been told that they're not very accurate reflections of the corresponding degrees, so I was wondering if there was anything else out there that might be useful. Thanks.

Cambridge has a good resource here: https://www.transkills.admin.cam.ac..../essay-writing
(yes it's for History but it focuses on the basics of critical essay writing), and an amazing philosophy one here: https://www.phil.cam.ac.uk/curr-stud...il-essay-guide, which saved my life writing for the Philosophy Pre-U.

When you're at uni, as well, I'm sure you'll be able to get essay feedback from your tutor and help with essay writing. Good luck
