Near Chemistry fail to getting an A, is it possible?

I'm doing the CCEA exam board, where previously AS counted towards 40% of the A-level. I got a low C in my chemistry AS and I was going to repeat this year. I need an A for my offer and I got an A* in my mock exam for chemistry this year. I'm wondering how likely it is for my C in Chemistry to be bumped up to an A in this algorithm they're using to give us grades

No idea as it depends how high an A* and how high the C was so you know what gap you have to make up. If they are doing calculated grade then its possible.
