Hi if I apply for a maintenance loan now, can I change my mind later. I have applied for both student finance and a maintenance loan, however, I don't think I will be needing a maintenance loan as an I will be living at home. But then I am also thinking of getting a maintenance loan, and investing it in stocks. Is it worth getting a maintenance loan while staying at home, and how is this paid, like every month or all at once? And of course can i change my mind on a maintenance loan, but still keep student finance before i go to uni?

Hi there, it's paid into 3 installments - you can find more information about how it works here http://ow.ly/CRjh30oSeNR
If you change your mind you can amend your application online to change the Maintenance Loan.
Thanks, Isaac
