Anyone here cycles in London?

If so do you feel safe cycling? Have you had any bad experiences e.g. cars getting too close or being hit by a car? Which part of London do you cycle in? I noticed in central London next to London eye and city of London the cycling paths are exceptional.
I used to cycle. It's around East Lodnon though. I noticed Central London is very bike-friendly as in West London

Bike kinda broke and never got the chance to replace it. Might start cycling again but that depends on when.
