What is the best Uni for Marine Biology

Hi all,
I am currently in Year 12, and I am looking at Uni's to attend to for Marine Biology. The Ones I currently have my eye on are Portsmouth, Southampton, St. Andrews, and Exeter. I was wondering if you could provide some insight into what my options are.

I have done some research but I think input from others would also help. I would like to know what the lifestyle is like and the general idea of what the course is. I am really conflicted. Thanks

Hi @kymaster123

Whilst I can't comment on Portsmouth etc. I can give you a bit of an insight into Marine Biology at Hull. A few of my friends from undergraduate studied Marine Biology, and they really enjoyed it.

The North Sea + The Deep + Leading Academics = ideal place to study Marine Biology.

As part of our course, you can learn to Scuba Dive! We are also accredited by the Institution of Environmental Science (IES).
More details such as our modules can be found on our website:

https://www.hull.ac.uk/study/undergraduate/marine-biology-bsc-hons

We also have the option to message a current Marine Biology student which is available through our website

If there is anything specific surrounding lifestyle which you would like to know, please feel free to ask any questions in our 'Ask a Hull Student Thread' - https://www.thestudentroom.co.uk/showthread.php?t=6460014
