I usually get my cheese from Sainsburys, who classify cheddar from 1 (mild) to 5 (extra mature), and whilst I like the taste of 5, I generally find it too crumbly to slice well, so I go for 4 as the best overall; but keep trying 5 now and again in the hope the texture's improved.
Why would you have it with pesto when pesto is already filled with it?
For me anyway,I don’t really taste anything in just pesto pasta,adding that extra bit of cheese really brings out the flavour x I feel like I’m on a food review show😂
