so :0 i’m really second guessing my a-level choices ( i start in September ) , i’ve chosen to do sociology, psychology and history at a-level . i’m predicted a 9 in history and a 7 maybe an 8 in sociology at GCSE so they are my strongest points . however as i want to go into teaching english abroad and hopefully becoming a polyglot, i was thinking english language would be good too .

- sociology
- psychology
- history
- English lang

Which do you all think would be best?? ( in terms of uni, a good balance, work load etc)

Thank uu )

english language may be helpful :yep: i had a quick look at one TEFL degree here and they don't seem to ask for specific requirements, it may vary between institutions though so you need to do your research. your main priority should be to pick a level subjects you enjoy as a levels are difficult and you need to be motivated to work hard.

In terms of uni they seem like an excellent mix but they are very heavily essay based so maybe only take 3 rather than 4, but that’s up to you obviously. English Language could be helpful for teaching that abroad, I wanted to take English Language but my 6th form only offered literature.
