What's the best substitute to a Bogner Fish preamp?

I want to get that chuggy middy Rust in Peace tone and I can't seem to find a Bogner Fish preamp (The one that was used to record the RIP album) for sale anywhere.

But I play live routinely (well, not recently...) so that's the other thing
Not sure re subs for the Fish, theyalways seemed to be out on their own. I know Kemper has a model for it, but I guess you aren't gonna want to shell out on a super expensive modelling amp for the sake of a preamp.
