Well, you never know, during the process of confessing her interest in your friend she might develop feelings for you. Possible, no? - or maybe I've been reading too many romance novels.

Very good point, although the flirting's a bit of a shame. Perhaps you could keep away when they do it? Or ask him not to infront of you?
