Business Management VS Economics (which will get u better job) HELP!?

Hi

i just completed by AS levels, got ABC, will be predicted AAB

achieved 5 A's 2 A*s and 3 B's at GCSE

I have wanted to do business management because i am passionate about business and do well at it( got full marks on exams), so i thought applying for a business management degreee will enable me to get a very good career (earning 85,000) but the more i research the more im finding that a degree in economics will take u alot further, im not as passionate about it, but i think i can do it, if it will mean a good career and better job prospects

so its
management (really enjoy it, and will do well, but is seen as soft degree, and may hinder career)

VS

Economics (wont enjoy as much, but seen as a better standard of degree, which will enable me to get better job)

btw i didnt take AS level economics or math, most universities arent specific, other that lse, warwick durham oxford ect

SOMEONEEE HELPPPPPPPPP!!!

Economics standard but because you didnt take A-level maths that would likely put you at a disadvantage. However at the end of the day its about which course your most passionate about and if it is business management then choose Business.

You could get a degree in Business Management BScfrom Kings, thats a very respected course and you get to do what you want. Also Management at LSE, which is the same again.

Do business if you are not interested in economics. Economics is much more abstract and theoretical than business management. And if you haven't done A-level mathematics then it's another reason to avoid economics. Economics talks with mathematical logic.

Economics is a science and you study lot of economic theories which may seem difficult to apply in real life, unless you are really into it and you understand it really well.
Business management is more practical and every day. Both will give you great job prospects if you go to top school for either business or economics. I would say economics is much more highly regarded then business management. There are people who are successful in business and yet they never studied it. However, economics-you really have to learn it to know it and to apply it in practice.
