im going down on the 13th because my course starts on the 15th. i know what you mean i dont want to go early and i dont want to go late!!! yer im going to sheffield hallam to
It's a bit of a conundrum with that one I think.. If you go early (I moved in on the first day), you may find the place a little empty for a few days, which can be quite lonely if you've come a long way and don't know anyone around.. However, I know that some folks who left it until close to the uni enrolment dates had a nightmare checking in, getting their stuff to their rooms et cetera because naturally everybody has the same idea. The parking outside ex works is atrocious and if you come at a busy time you won't have a chance in hell of finding a car parking space even closeby, without mentioning the really annoying one-way system around there. What a few people did was come the first day of contract, get their keys from reception and move the vast majority of their stuff in then, go back home for a few days and return with keys already in hand and just a suitcase or something. I wish I'd done that to be honest.

There is a Sainsbury's Local literally about 100 metres walk from Exchange Works.

In the town centre there is another Sainsbury's Local and a small Somerfield. If you want a big supermarket you'll have to get a bus to the big Tesco's on Abbeydale Road.
