Hi, go on the government website and apply for a provisional license. This will then be posted to you a few weeks later.

Find a good driving instructor in your area.

You will need to take a theory test before you take your practical driving test. There are many apps and books for you to revise from.

Your driving instructor will likely tell you when they think you are ready to take your practical test, and when you should book it for.

If you have any more questions for more detail just ask
- Register for a provisional license and have it delivered.
- You can sit your Driving Theory Test and begin to take practical lessons once you are 17 years old.
- After you have passed your Driving Theory Test, you can sit your Practical Driving Test once your instructor thinks you are ready.
- The Driving Theory Test is valid for 2 years from the date you passed. After that, you'll have to sit it again in order to take your Practical Driving Test if you haven't done so already.
