Oxford colleges and fish tanks

Does anyone know if any of the Oxford colleges let you keep amphibians in your dorm room? (I have an axolotl)

The easiest way to know is to email the access team at the college you want to apply to

I don't think there is a college that allows pets, no.

Especially they are unlikely to allow it if you call it ‘dorm room’

You can always choose to live outside of the college accommodation (but it’s expensive!) then you can keep whatever you want.

hmm, I think in no college you can keep any pet, sadly( Well, you could keep it without permission if you love it that much, but you could get expelled for not obeying the rules... Anyway, I have a friend that keeps an aquarium in his room even though it is forbidden. He was just so persuasive that the administrator agreed! You could try! An aquarium doesn't take much space and time. Feed the fish, take care of the aquarium and you'll be fine. If you want some decoration you could try live rocks from arcreef.com, they are both dope and useful!
