Most Russia people outside of the large city universities would not have meant many black people. Their mostly likely to believe that black people are rich Americans because TV.
Doesnt that go for many countries, where the population isnt highly mobile into the major cities? Same rather goes for England, if you live in the rural villages and don't leave them the odds of meeting many blacks arent overly high. The case of midsomer murders being a rather good illustration of that fact, before orders from on high demanded more ethnics be portrayed in it.
