How do I get into US Nursing school when I already have a UK bachelor's?

Hi everyone :smile:

I already have a UK Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Science and my long term goal is to become a nurse practitioner. I really want to study Nursing in California. I fell in love with the place after a trip and knew I wanted to study there.

The only problem is, the system is confusing me so much.
The amount of conflicting information I am getting from schools is insane. Some universities say they don't accept students who already have bachelor's degrees, some do. The ones that do usually need pre-requisite classes to be taken before starting, but they need to be taken in the US and I can't get an F-1 to complete pre-reqs. The list goes on. My brain is exploding at this point and I really don't know where to look. I have even had opposite information given to me by two representatives at the same university.

I just wanted to ask, has anyone gone into a Nursing course in the US having already got a UK Bachelors?
Does anyone have any advice regarding applying to a US Nursing course in general?
