I've just found a list of books which are 5 months 
overdue.

I forgot to return mine for like a week or something and had totally forgot i was going to get charged. i got chaged 3 pounds i felt robbed lol!

erm....I think the overdue fee for my library is 5p per day......so for every book it is 30 x 5p x 5 = 7.5 pound penalty charge per book
5p per day sounds reasonable.It's 10p here for my local library.I remember when there used to be no fines on overdue books. No more I'm afraid...
