Hi all,

I've read through the Home Office's Tier 4 guidelines front and back on the website, and still don't really understand the guidelines for employment and what kind of work you can do.

If I have a part-time job with an employer outside the UK, am I allowed to continue working for that employer over the internet or not?
Under my circumstances I'm technically allowed to work 20 hours a week during term time, and it doesn't say that it has to be UK-based work. But for distance work, I don't imagine how they would measure how many hours that job really is. Am I making this too complicated?

Looking for opinions of people who may have worked on a student visa in the past.
